# Mac Mini Tonight Setup Plan **Produced:** 08/18/2026 09:35 PM CDT Use this order if you want the cleanest first-night launch. ## 1. Create the three workspaces - `royal/` - `j_and_j/` - optional `owner_exec_optional/` If time gets tight, stand up `royal/` first and `j_and_j/` second. ## 2. Lock the routing habit immediately Require these prefixes from day one: - `ROYAL:` - `J&J:` - `CROSS:` Do not rely on the business name appearing somewhere in the middle of a sentence. ## 3. Fill the minimum live config Before connecting live data, edit: - `USER.md` - `TOOLS.md` - `MEMORY.md` - `configs/source-map.md` - `configs/report-catalog.md` Do that in both `royal/` and `j_and_j/`. ## 4. Connect only the first useful sources Best first-night source priority: 1. inbox or message path 2. receivables / accounting export 3. backlog / install board / task queue 4. inventory export for Royal Do not try to connect everything in one night. ## 5. Keep outbound actions conservative For night one: - drafts are fine - summaries are fine - logging is fine - autonomous sending should stay limited - quotes, invoices, pricing, legal, payroll, vendor commitments, and money promises should still require approval ## 6. Turn on quality gates from day one Before anything leaves the machine: - verify the business is correct - verify recipients are correct - verify the source is current enough - verify any material assumptions are stated - run the red-team pass - verify the artifact or send actually completed ## 7. Best first workflows ### Royal 1. receivables exceptions 2. inventory sell-through watchlist 3. inbox / lead monitoring ### J&J 1. inbox / message monitoring 2. job or install backlog summary 3. receivables or collections exceptions ## 8. Do not go live on cross-business rollups first Get Royal and J&J stable separately. Only then use `owner_exec_optional/` for: - owner summaries - comparisons - cross-business rollups ## 9. Definition of a successful first night - both business workspaces exist - routing prefixes are enforced - live sources are mapped - at least one report or summary path is working in each business - outbound approval rules are still conservative - no Royal content appears in J&J and no J&J content appears in Royal
